Production technology: grinding
Grinding is a precise machining operation aimed at achieving very tight dimensional tolerances and a high surface finish, performed using a centerless grinding machine. Similar to the peeling process, the mechanical properties of the bars remain unchanged.
Ground bars, due to their exceptional quality, occupy a significant share of the steel section market and are used in the production of highly sensitive machine parts and equipment across various industries.
Ground bars can be produced from the output of the drawing or peeling lines. In the POOLAD SIM factory, depending on market demand, drawn or peeled products are transferred to the centerless grinding machine. After processing and achieving the desired size and tolerance, the bars undergo inspection and quality control checks. Once approved, they are transferred to the packaging line.
